 I wanted to thank you for your fine
product and tell you about what it has done for us. Suzy, our 5 year old boxer, was diagnosed with arthritis nearly 2 years ago. The first summer it
got so bad after she played hard that she would walk on 3 legs for days. Suzy has the high
pain threshold and exuberance typical of the breed, so we knew she
was in awful pain to limp. My sister-in-law gave us some articles on Amaize. Both
of my dogs have been on it ever since. Suzy no longer limps and can
even navigate the stairs to her playhouse. Both dogs have absolutely amazing,
gleaming coats and excellent overall health. In fact, we are so enthused we've started 7
other dogs in the area (or actually we've convinced friends to put their dogs on it),
including a friend's 15 year old hunting dog who is acting more energetic than he has in
years!

Just a brief update on some cases you might be interested in hearing
about in which I have been using Amaize as a dietary supplement. As you know, I am
skeptical when it comes to trying new products, but I have been very pleased with the
results I have had with dogs which I have placed on Amaize.
Recently, I received a nice call from a client with a dog which had always been thin and had a poor hair coat. This dog had been worked
up extensively by another vet and was placed on a variety of premium diets and supplements
with no real results. This client came to me for routine vaccinations several months ago.
I suggested supplementing with Amaize to improve condition. The dog
is now in excellent condition, the hair coat and skin look great, and the client is
very pleased. I have had similar experiences with other "poor-doers" placed on
Aniaize.
I now routinely recommend Amaize supplementation for a wide variety of
muskuloskeletal problems, including hip dysplasia and OCD cases. I have seen significant
improvement in a number of animals to make me think twice about how I used to handle these
cases. Needless to say, I am not so quick to recommend surgery or to start standard
anti-inflammatory regiments without first trying Amaize supplementation for I month. I was
convinced about the value of Amaize supplementation following experiences with two dogs in
which Amaize made a tremendous difference. Both dogs were destined for euthanasia by their
owners due to severe progressive lamenesses and financial constraints.
"Rocky," a German Shepherd diagnosed with severe
hip dysplasia (radiographically and clinically) at age eleven months, is now a year older, asymptomatic and vigorously runs every day. Rocky
has never had surgery or been on corticosteroids, only Amaize. This case was an eye-opener
for me!
"Bo" was an eight month old Great Dane pup in poor condition which had
clinical and radiographical evidence of a severe OCD lesion of the
left shoulder. The owner elected to euthanize rather than consider surgery. To make
a long story short, "Bo" was adopted out to a new owner. Since "Bo"
was clinically malnourished, I suggested Amaize supplementation and limited activity for
several weeks prior to surgery. Two months later, "Bo" has
regained condition, the owner has reported no lameness or pain and I have not done
the surgery.

I first administered AMAIZE to my
two hunting dogs, Moose, a nine year old black Labrador male, and Dewey, a 5 year
old Chesapeake female, on October 23, 1994 at the rate indicated on the package. On
October 27 and November 3rd, I hunted both dogs. During those hunts I
noticed a tremendous difference in both dogs' performance in the field, a substantial
increase in speed, and especially in endurance, particularly in the old Labrador.
Both dogs performed like champions, running through heavy cover, field after field, never
faltering once. We hunted just over 6 miles in 4 hours with superior dog performance. I'm convinced, that in just 2 weeks AMAIZE increased the performance and
endurance of my hunting dogs. As an owner and trainer of field trial and hunting
dogs for over 23 years, I can honestly say I have NEVER used a Veterinary product or food
supplement that so rapidly increased the health and well-being of my retrievers. Please
keep up the great work.

I'm writing in regard to your Amaize Nutritional Supplement for dogs. Our dogs have
been competing in weight pulling competition for 6 years. In that time our first and
oldest dog has qualified for the International Pull-Off 2 of the past 3 years. This past
spring, at the end of the season, we thought that we may have to retire her at the age of
9. She still had the desire, but the day after competing or a good
work out she would show signs of muscle and joint stiffness. A few months ago a
friend told us about Amaize. Since we began mixing your product in
her food, she has been like a much younger dog. Not only is she competing this
season with no apparent problems, she is currently leading the points in her class.

Much as I'd prefer to credit coincidence or changing conditions, I have to concede
that credit seems due to your AMAIZE. I put the "possibly hypoglycemic" young yellow Lab on AMAIZE as
soon as we got back from Colorado. Two days later he put in a hunting stint that would
have staggered him previously, with no apparent breakdown. The short time span made me
suspicious, but I've kept him on the AMAIZE since, have been hunting him under both wet
and dry conditions and he stays right on top of his game.

A year ago I adopted my dad's 14 year old dog, a mixed shepherd/retriever. Louie is
a big dog and was experiencing hip problems. We started him on AMAIZE and in the last year Louie has not had anymore hip problems. Louie is aging, but I know AMAIZE has helped his stamina and improved his quality of life.
